Knowledge design is a creative practice that takes knowledge as the medium.
Like a social practice artist works with relationships as a medium, or a sculptor works with clay, we work with knowledge. Like an architect whose designs involve light, space, materials, and people, our designs involve all sorts of human and nonhuman bodies in an experience with knowledge.
